“SIULA” Money Market Fund

NI Capital launched “Siula” its first money market fund in February 2021. “Siula” invests in liquid and short-term financial instruments, including bonds; T-bills; banking deposits; certificates of deposits and other low-risk instruments. 

“Siula” fund is the first money market fund to be established by an investment bank in Egypt and is also the first money market fund to invest in movable collaterals, benefiting from recent legislative amendments to investment funds’ laws.

“Siula” fund aims to achieve a daily cumulative return corresponding with the low risk associated with the instruments it invests in, while maintaining a high degree of liquidity that allows investors to buy and sell their certificates daily. 

Siula's primary characteristics consist of the ability to make daily purchases and redemptions, providing higher returns when compared to current and savings accounts, enjoying tax exemption on all earnings, having no purchase or redemption expenses associated with the investment, purchases and redemption of fund certificate can take place through NI Capital, AoLB, ECIS and Mubasher.

15/30 Fixed Income Fund

"15/30" fund, is NI Capital’s for fixed income Fund in Egyptian pounds, the fund aims to provide a distinctive savings and investment pool appropriate with the low degree of risks associated with the invested instruments, and invests its money in treasury bills, treasury bonds, sukuk, bank deposits and corporate bonds.

Investors in "15/30" will be able to purchase the fund's certificates during any working day, but the redemption will be only on the 15th and 30th of each month, which will provide an opportunity to get better returns in comparison with what is achieved by highly liquid cash funds.

The main characteristics of the "15/30" fund is that it allows for daily purchases and semi-monthly redemptions, offers higher returns than regular accounts and deposits, enjoys tax exemptions on all profits, has no associated expenses for buying or redeeming the investment, and is the first fund to be licensed investment in movable assets to achieve greater returns.

MAKASEB GIG ISLAMIC MONEY MARKET FUND

Makaseb Fund is a multi-version Islamic Sharia-compliant fund sponsored and managed by GIG Egypt - Takaful Hayah with cumulative returns. The Money Market Fund aims to achieve a daily cumulative return that corresponds to the low-risk level associated with the investment instruments invested in, which are compatible with Islamic Sharia principles, while maintaining a high levels of liquidity that allows investors to purchase and redeem daily through investment in short- and medium-term liquid financial instruments such as treasury bills, bank deposits, repurchase agreements, financing sukuk, and savings certificates.

“MAKASEB” Islamic Sharia-compliant fund returns on the certificates are not subject to taxes according to tax laws. There are no fees for purchasing or redeeming certificates. Additionally, the first issuance certificate holders are provided with life insurance coverage. Finally, the fund is suitable for both individuals and businesses looking to manage their cash in a sharia compliant way.

"Sahmy" Equity Fund

"Sahmy" fund was launched by NI Capital in December 2022 to invest in Egyptian stocks with cumulative periodic returns. It is the first equity fund to offer daily redemption in Egypt.

The fund aims to achieve the maximum possible capital growth commensurate with the degree of risk that the fund's investments may be exposed to, according to the investment decision of the investment manager. This is done by distributing risks through diversifying the portfolio in which the fund invests its money, in order to be able to outperform inflation rates according to the study conducted before launching. Investors can enter and exit the fund through daily purchase and redemption.

EDUCATION FOR LIFE FUND

Education for Life Fund is a non-profit investment fund in Egypt that focuses on sustainable development in the education sector. Modeled after Islamic charitable endowments Trust, the fund is monitored by the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority and the Central Auditing Organization. The fund disburses the interest earned to invest in the development of education in Egypt, aiming to upgrade all aspects of vocational education.

Education for Life Fund is managed by NI Capital's investment management arm and has a governance structure that is both professional and sound. The fund serves as an institutional mechanism for administering charitable work and Waqf and invests in initiatives and institutions that have the potential for long-term impact and sustained growth. Experienced investment professionals are in charge of managing the fund, ensuring that high-risk adjusted returns are achieved for medium and long-term investments.

Education for Life Fund has supported several applied technology schools in various fields and achieved notable success stories. It has supported and invested in ElectroMisr School of Applied Technology which is also sponsored by Schneider Electric Egypt and the European Institute for Cooperation & Development (IECD), and Mahmoud El-Anany Applied Technology School, and Nahr Al-Khair Applied Technology School, both being agricultural vocational schools, and Al-Fawakheer Secondary School for Applied Technology a specialized arts and crafts school.
